Our members are mainly professionals in the Belgian financial industry whose activities include financial analysis, reporting and communication, including sell-side & buy-side equity analysts, fixed income analysts, strategists, corporate finance professionals, private bankers, private equity houses, CEOs…

Our governance model ensures that members have an influence on the decisions taken by the General Assembly.

As a member:

ABAF/BVFA is a member of a EFFAS, the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies, and represents our association in consultative organisations such as EFRAG, ESMA, XBRL, and ECMI. As a result, you will be kept informed about the latest trends in corporate reporting and financial communication, such as ESRS, IFRS, IASB, XBRL…
  • You will be invited to the annual ABAF/BVFA Awards ceremony, which rewards Belgian listed companies and small and mid-caps that excel in their communication with the financial community.
  • You will be invited to attend EFFAS events and conferences at a reduced price, including the EFFAS Summer School and CESGA Conference.
  • You will have access to certified courses offered by EFFAS at a reduced rate, including CESGA, CEFA, ESG Essentials and DiAM.

How to become a member?

All you have to do is sending us an email to info@abaf-bvfa.be with your personal and relevant professional details and a brief explanation of your interest in becoming an ABAF/BVFA member.

When you register for one of our training programmes, you automatically become a member for a period of one year from the date of your registration. After this period you will be invited to renew your membership.

The membership fee is EUR 150 per year.
