International Organization

One of our goals is to build a home base for the international financial community. International cooperation between different analyst societies has been started already years ago. In this context ABAF/BVFA is member of both the European federation EFFAS – European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies – and the worldwide association ACIIA – Association of Certified International Investment Analysts. Within these federations local societies actively work together on different topics like financial analysis training-updates, IFRS taxonomy, ESG and Integrated Reporting.

We assure regular contact with EFFAS and ACIIA and represent ABAF/BVFA within their governing bodies. Beside EFFAS and ACIIA, our board members also participate on behalf of ABAF/BVFA with consulting organizations, such as EFRAG, XBRL, ECMI and ESMA.

Being part of this European financial network enables us, as a consequence, to regularly share the latest findings and regulations about reporting and financial communication with our members and the Belgian community of finance professionals.
